No official source describes a poste restante service in Rwanda. The iPosita website presents PO box rentals and, since 2024, the electronic PO box (ePoBox); the UPU addressing sheet only gives a B.P. example.

Unverified leads

• Official iPosita "PO Box Rentals" page (undated): a named box, the iPosita commits to receive, keep and make the mail available to the subscriber. Annual rental: 15,000 RWF (individual) and 30,000 RWF (company).
• ePoBox: official Irembo portal help page (modified 8 December 2025): online application with an Irembo account, phone number, national ID number (individual) or TIN (company), choice of post office; 8,000 RWF (individual) or 15,000 RWF (company); processing time of one working day. The address format is not specified there.
• Rwanda's UPU addressing sheet (03/2005, old) only shows a "B.P." (PO box) example, with no poste restante.
• The operator's name varies by source (National Post Office, iPosita, Rwanda Post): it is the same national office.
• Unverified lead: ask an iPosita office directly whether mail can be held at the counter. An Australia Post guide (secondary source) says its International Express service does not deliver to poste restante for Rwanda.

We found no official page about this service. That doesn't prove it doesn't exist: many postal websites block automated access or simply don't mention it.
