  • Official page read directly: CAMPOST describes the PO box as the product that gives the customer a legal address. To open one, an ID document (copy of national ID, passport or residence card) is required. No price or duration is given, and poste restante is not mentioned there.
  • According to the local press (Cameroon Tribune), CAMPOST holds the monopoly on PO boxes: this is the dominant way to receive mail in Cameroon.
  • Older secondary source, not verified: testimonies on an expat forum in YaoundΓ© mention a parcel collected as "poste restante" at a post office counter, with no official conditions.
  • The UPU addressing sheet (07/2002) only gives a PO box example ("BP … / YAOUNDE / CAMEROON").
  • To be confirmed with CAMPOST or at the counter before sending.

We found no official page about this service. That doesn't prove it doesn't exist: many postal websites block automated access or simply don't mention it.
